Music for piano is represented on two staffs, one for the right hand and other for the left. A symbol called brace joins those two staffs toghether.

Those two staffs joined by a brace create a grand staff.
Example 2
Middle C is written right on the center of the grand staff between the two staffs.
Example 3
Don’t forget that both notes from the last example are actually the same.
